Dreading the Danger

from SENTRY by Gab.riel

/

about

The living blemish of the land; approached the city walls.
Squads of archers took their posts; answering the guardsmens' calls.

A volley shot, an army's lot; let loose from tens of bows.
The first wave fell, as sure as hell; but hundreds took their rows.

“They're coming soon!”, called Cecil's aide; pointing straight at the horde.
The guardsman's thoughts went to the guilds; In danger was his lord.

“The party still is going on!”; Cecil exclaimed with fear.
His legs ran forth onto the stairs; His purpose very clear.

To put it simply: Sit back, take a listen, and see a new world with your ears.
