Adagio For a Dump File

by Gab.riel

Void. A traditionally dark and desolate word.

It brings forward all of the feelings that we associate with death, destruction, and the nothingness that lies after.

This track, lasting exactly 45 minutes and 21 seconds, is an attempt to capture the void that electronic bits go to once they are used up. Like the death of a man feeding the soil of the earth: A deleted computer file, after all, is just a space made for new files to take root and grow. New tones come from those that came before, just as future tones will come after these.

Void is not an end, but a domain for a new beginning.

To put it simply: Sit back, take a listen, and see a new world with your ears.
